How Broker Cost Estimations Are Calculated
Our cost estimations are designed to provide accurate and transparent pricing. Here's a detailed breakdown of our process:

1. Postage Costs:

  • For policies without a valid email or mobile contact, postage costs are estimated at an average of €1.80 per policy for sending one letter.
  • These estimates do not include costs for sending reminders.
  • Circulator's cost does not include any postage costs

2. Email Costs:

  • The cost of sending emails is calculated based on Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) time.
  • We have estimated for 3 reminders sent to 90%, 70% and 50% of the total Emails sent

3. SMS Costs:

  • SMS costs are averaged at €0.05 per SMS sent.
  • We have estimated for 3 reminders sent to 90%, 70% and 50% of the total SMS sent

4. Time Calculation:

  • Time is calculated based on an average FTE salary of €30,000 per annum.
  • For policies with one driver, calls are estimated to take an average of 3 minutes each.
  • For policies with more than one driver, calls are estimated to take an average of 6 minutes each.

5. Response Rate Allowance:

  • We account for 10% of emails eliciting a response with the required details after the first email, reducing the number of necessary outbound calls accordingly.
